DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 5th\, 2025\nLocation: Cape Fear Regional Jetport (Back side of airport in FBO)\n\nCost of Class:$35 per person for non-members.$25 per person for members.\n\nPay in person the day of class with cash or check. (No Credit Cards)\n\nRegistration begins at 08:30am with class starting at 09:00am and ending approximately by noon.\nRegister by emailing John Hall (Education Officer) at hall17768@gmail.com\n\nCruise confidently in coastal waters\, secure in your knowledge of tidal conditions. Even if you are an inland boater\, you may travel to an area where knowing about tides and tidal currents is important. Discover what causes the tides to rise and fall and what causes the currents to flow. Learn where to find sources of information about tides and tidal currents\, simple ways to predict height of tide and speed of current flow and how to use both print and electronic tide tables. Learn about how tides and currents affect your boat’s performance from experienced coastal boaters.
