SUMMARY:America's Boating Course - ABC
DESCRIPTION:ABC is the U.S. Power Squadron’s basic boating course for new boaters.\nWe will cover mostly everything from getting started to navigation rules\, aids to navigation\, lights and sound signals\, overview of navigation charts and boater regulations.\nCompletion of the class\, with a passing grade\, allows you to have an Official NASBLA North Carolina Boating License. Any person born on or after Jan. 1\, 1988\, is required to complete a NASBLA approved boating course in order to legally operate a motorized boat of 10 horsepower or more\, on the public waters of North Carolina.\n\nWe encourage parents to bring the older kids to learn about boater safety and get NASBLA Certified.
